The Scottish Rite, Valley of Niagara holds it’s 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at The Links of Niagara at Willodell (formerly Willodell), 10325 Willodell, Niagara Falls (905) 295-4653, .

Tee of time 11:30 a.m. – Cost $100 which includes:
Round of Golf
Cart
Prime Rib Dinner

The tournament is being held in support of dyslexic children and a $25 tax receipt will be issued to each golfer.

Family members may join the group for dinner at a cost of $25.

INITIATION

Initiation – what does that word really mean? The OED defines it as “Admit a person into a society, an office, a secret especially with a ritual”. In Masonry we often refer rather obliquely to the Eleusinian Mystery cult. This cult originated in Greece and here, briefly, is the story.

The following link is to load Masonic Sites and other interesting sites onto your GPS. As indicated, it includes 499 lodges in Ontario, thus far and if the other lodges can come up with a formal address rather than a post office box, then most likely they will be included also.

With the tom-tom units, you punch in the city and it will give you all of the lodges in that city.
With the garmond unit, you have to know which lodge you are seeking and you have to spell it out as it does not give it to you by city, at the moment.
