V.W. Bro. Peyton Raises More Than $3000 For MS Research

Sunday, September 26, V.W. Brother Larry Peyton participated in the annual Niagara MS Bike Tour. He raised $3,240.00, squarely defeating an initial goal of $3000.

The goal for the Niagara Region was $300,000, and $345,000 was raised by more than 600 participants.

The funds are used in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS) and enabling those affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.

Peyton said that the weather really helped make a great event, and the route made it very enjoyable. "Especially along the Niagara Blvd. with the nice homes on one side and the river on the other."

The experience was "similar to visiting a Lodge: you meet many people from
diverse backgrounds, from other cities: Toronto, Oakville, Oshawa, who are there for the one purpose:
To raise funds to help end M. S. Seeing children riding and participating with their parents."

Congratulations to V.W. Bro. Peyton on his effort and accomplishment. Imagine what a difference could be felt in the community if we all did something like this this year.
